SAFARI PARK

ABOUT 

Amlaki, Bahira, Haritaki, Karai, Shimul, Haldu, Palash, Chapaliish, Kusum, Patraj, Udal and Mavalati Swarambaram were seen in small tilas (boats) and low land (baid) salmon of Bhawal average. In this forest, many species of Maya deer, leopard, forest cat, Gandhakkul, Shiel, Sajra, Ajagor, Monkey, Hanuman and other birds were found. Around 63 species of vegetation and 220 species of wild animals were found in Salban. The existence of shaw forests is rapidly losing due to population growth, urbanization, industrialization, the expansion of agricultural land by destruction of forests, housing, forced and land dispute. Wildlife is an integral part of the natural environment, food cycle and biodiversity. Wildlife's role in the existence of humans is immense. Conservation of biodiversity, development of eco-tourism, development of tourism industry, education, In order to create research and entertaining opportunities, initiatives have been taken to establish "Safari Park" in the Bhawalgarh area, which is remembered with the memory of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu. 

4909.0 acres of forest land of Pirujali Mauza of Pirujali Union of Pirujali Union of Sadar upazila under Sreepur upazila of Gazipur district, known as safe haven for small species of various species. Out of this 3810.0 acres area has been included in the master plan of Safari Park. The project titled 'Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Safari Park' was approved by ECNEC at an estimated cost of Tk 63.99 crore in 2010 and the establishment of the park was started and on 2 February 2011 Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Safari Park, Gazipur officially started construction activities. No master plan could be formulated at the beginning of the project. Later, with the help of native and foreign experts, a master plan was developed to upgrade to the Safari Park of international standards. On 4th October 2011, the project was approved by ECNEC at an estimated cost of Tk 219.89 crores on October 4, 2011 to implement the activities described in Master Plan and on the 4th of October 2011, the Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Safari Park, Gazipur (1st revised) project. Later, in October / 2013, at the expense of Tk 263 crore by ECNEC, "Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Government Park, The Gazipur (2nd Amendment) project is passed. 

Followers for tourists in Safari Park

1. Do not put polythene and non-abrasive materials in the dustbin. 
2. Cigarette packets, discarded paper, wasted batteries, lighter and biscuits, shovels, etc., 
      where there is no plastic container to be placed in a specific place. 
3. Do not move from the moving car in the tiger and lion's best. 
4. Do not let the soft and pure drinking bottles in the forest. 
5. Mike playing, betting or scalding, singing and grouping is not enough. 
6. To use the rest house, take permission from booking in advance. 
7. Prior to ticket counters, purchase of tickets will be recommended. 
8. Avoid giving any type of food to wild animals. 
9. Do not take any outdoor food inside the park

Safari Park Inspection / Enrollment Fee

Visitors can visit Safari Park by paying a fixed fee. Fees levied by the government are as follows :
1. Adults per adult - 50 rupees 
2 Unemployed elderly - 20 rupees 
3 School student (under 15 years) - 10 Taka 
4 Students coming to the education tour from educational institution (40-100) - 400 Taka 
5 Students coming from the establishment of education (Group 100) - 800 Taka 
6 Foreign tourists - 5 US dollars or equal amount of Bangladeshi money

2 Minibus / microbus each - 100 taka 
3 Cars / jeep each - 60 Taka
